Rules & Regulations
- The warning bell for class is given at 7.55 a.m., five minutes before the commencement of the class. Students should be in their respective classrooms before the second bell at 8.00 a.m. When a lecturer enters the class, the students must rise and remain standing until they are instructed to sit down.
- Students must not loiter along the corridors or the quadrangle during class hours.
- No student is allowed to leave the lecture hall without the lecturer's permission or until the class is dismissed.
- If the concerned lecturer is absent or late, students are expected to inform the coordinators office immediately.
- Students are not permitted to smoke on the College campus. They are liable to disciplinary action (even dismissal) if found smoking on the campus.
- Disciplinary action will be taken against any student found in possession of or under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
- Students are forbidden to bring fire crackers and colour powders to the campus.
- Insubordination, habitual inattention, neglect of work, unbecoming language or conduct, obscenity in word or deed render a student liable to suspension or permanent dismissal.
- Boys and girls are expected to conduct themselves with dignity and maturity. In the interrelationship; they must observe norms of decency and propriety.
- The campus must be kept clean at all times. Littering with sweet wrappers, waste paper, defacing the walls or desks, damaging college property etc., are offences. Every class under the guidance of the class leader will be responsible for the cleanliness of the room allotted to it.
- Though the College is not responsible for the conduct of its students outside the premises, it will take note of any serious misconduct of a student outside the campus.
- Posters, notices, etc., must not be put up without the permission of the Coordinator.
- Students are expected to wear formal dress while attending classes and College functions. However they are allowed to wear T shirts with color and without slogans on Saturday. Girls - Salwar/Churidhar Kameez (No sleeveless, 3/4 , no 1/2 skirt, Tight Fitting or Short Tops)
- Students are not permitted to sit at the parking space and in the canteen during class hours.
- The MBA students can avail the parking space only on Sundays when classes are held between 7:30 a.m. to 1.45 p.m. The attendant or institution will not any responsibility for those vehicles which are parked beyond class hours. Any vehicle left on the campus after 1.45 p.m. will be handed over to the police station.
- Every student is required to wear his / her ID card while in the campus. No student is allowed to enter the college campus without the ID.
- Externs are not allowed to enter the College during class hours to meet students or to attend College functions. Strict action will be taken on those who bring externs to the functions.
- No money is to be collected from students without the prior permission of the Coordinator.
- The students are not allowed to organize picnics. The College reserves the right to initiate action against the class or group of students who violate this rule.
- Ragging is a major criminal offence. Those who indulge in ragging, even in a 'friendly' way or encourage ragging will be handed over to the police and will face immediate dismissal from the College. Ragging should be reported to the Anti-Ragging Cell. No justification in this regard will be acceptable.
- Use of mobiles is not permitted inside the classrooms and the corridors. Mobiles will be confiscated when used in the classrooms and corridors.
